Trondheim Underground Radio

Trondheim Underground Radio is focusing on music and bands from the area around Trondheim in Norway. We stream music from these bands 24 hours a day in a random fashion, but at the same time giving our listeners the possibility to request songs from bands they want to pay particular attention to.

In addition to act as portal for listening to the music we also try to be some kind of community network for people interested in events, discussions and other aspects of the music life in this part of Norway. Language is a mix of Norwegian for more "local matters" and English for the "broader public".

TUR is a spare time project, and some parts of this work is related to more technical issues. The music is streamed using MP3 over HTTP, and should be accessible as IPv4/IPv6 unicast and multicast.
